  16.     I wrote EasyACDDA (a gui developped  using Gui4Cli) for my  personal use and
  17.     then I have  sent it to my friends. Now I have  decided to give to the Amiga
  18.     community this little work of mine. I sincerely hope you will find EasyACDDA
  19.     very useful. EasyACDDA means EasyAmigaCDDA !

  66.     INSTALLATION:

  69.     Simply you have to run the  supplied installer-script (EasyACDDA-Install) or
  70.     install all by hand following these simple steps:
  71.      
  72.      1) Extract EasyACDDA.lha
  73.      2) Copy all files located in EasyACDDA/C to C:
  74.      3) Copy EasyACDDA and EasyACDDA.info where you like
  75.      4) Rename one of the available images as EasyACDDA.bkg
  76.      5) Copy EasyACDDA.bkg into the same place of EasyACDDA
  77.      6) Set your favorite tooltypes for EasyACDDA
  78.      7) Double click on the EasyACDDA icon
  79.      8) Add the task Gui4Cli to PicDT (PictureDatatypePrefs) *
  80.      9) Save the PicDT prefs. Close and restart EasyACDDA again *
  81.     10) Save your favorite configuration on your harddisk
  82.     11) Enjoy EasyACDDA !

  88.     INFOS-USAGE:

  91.     NOTE: EasyACDDA is designed  to work  only under Workbench. When  you launch
  92.           EasyACDDA for the first time, you must open the configuration panel by
  93.           selecting the menu item "Config". Enter your favorite configuration in
  94.           the text boxs and then save it. So you are ready to use EasyACDDA !

  98.     · About:      Gives some infos about  the program and  the author. There are
  99.                   two gadgets, "Okay" and "SendEmail". "SendEMail" has a special
  100.                   feature, it calls your emailer which will create a email ready
  101.                   that you could simply send me.
  102.     · Config:     Opens a  configuration panel  which allows  to configure  your
  103.                   CDRom. If the  tooltype "NOMEMTYPE" is set to "TRUE", then the
  104.                   text box "MEMTYPE" will be disabled.
  105.     · Test:       Opens a test panel which allows to test your CDRom in order to
  106.                   find a right value. If the right value is found, then you have
  107.                   to change the tooltype "PLAN" entering the right value.
  108.     · Quit:       Quit EasyACDDA.

  112.     The main window (EasyACDDA) is organized in two parts:

  114.     Play a CD track:
  115.     ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  116.     · 1-40:       these buttons allow  to play each single  track, you  can play
  117.                   other tracks also  if the  previous track has  not reached the
  118.                   end. So the  previous track will be stopped and the  new track
  119.                   will be played.
  120.     · Vol.-|+:    this slider allows  to set the volume (0-100[%]). You  have to
  121.                   set the volume before playing/saving any track.
  122.     · Play:       this button allows  to play consecutively all  tracks found on
  123.                   the CD.
  124.     · Stop:       this button affects the functions Play and Save stopping them.

  126.     Save a CD track:

  128.     · Track:      this text box allows to enter your favorite track to save. The
  129.                   gadgets [-][+] allow to do this operation in the easier way.
  130.     · Format:     this cycle menu allows to select the file format. You are able
  131.                   to save a track as 8SVX, WAV, MAUD and AIFF.
  132.     · Mode:       this cycle  menu allows  to select some  parameters. These are
  133.                   MUTE (no sound), MONO and 16BIT. When you save a track as WAV,
  134.                   MAUD or AIFF the only  available parameter is MUTE in spite of
  135.                   the cycle menu is set to another parameter.
  136.     · File:       this text box allows to enter  the path and  file name for the
  137.                   track to save.

  144.                   You can enter "2" (Chip Mem), "512" (Zorro Mem) or other value
  145.                   if you are  expert. If you  don't want this  feature then  you
  146.                   have to set the tooltype "NOMEMTYPE" to "TRUE" so the text box
  147.                   "MEMTYPE" will appear disabled.
  148.     · Use:        this button allows to use temporarily your configuration.
  149.     · Save:       this button allows to save your configuration on harddisk.
  150.     · HELP:       this button allows to obtain  some infos  about the  mechanism
  151.                   regarding this gui.

  158.                   parameters. If your CDRom works fine, you have found the right
  159.                   parameter so  you have to modify  the tooltype "PLAN" entering

  161.     · Stop:       this button allows to stop the test.
  162.     · HELP:       this button allows to obtain  some infos  about the  mechanism

  167.     · IMAGE:      this tooltype allows to set your favorite background image. So

  169.     · PLAN:       this tooltype allows to set your CDRom type with the following

  171.                   » "a" = some CDRoms "Sony" and compatible
  172.                   » "b" = some CDRoms "Toshiba" and compatible
  173.                   » "c" = some CDRoms "NEC" (old CDRoms)
  174.                   » "d" = some CDRoms "Grunding" and "Toshiba"
  175.                   » "e" = all CDRoms 100% Atapi
  176.                   » "f" = some CDRoms Pre-Atapi
  177.     · VOL:        this tooltype allows to set your default volume (default value
  178.                   100[%]). So EasyACDDA  will start with your value. The minimum
  179.                   value is "0" and the maximum is "100".
  180.     · FORMAT:     this tooltype allows to  set your  default file format for the
  181.                   output file. So EasyACDDA will start with your value. The only
  182.                   four values allowed are:
  183.                   » "0" = is for 8SVX
  184.                   » "1" = is for WAV
  185.                   » "2" = is for MAUD
  186.                   » "3" = is for AIFF
  187.     · MODE:       this tooltype  allows to  set your  default mode. So EasyACDDA
  188.                   will start with your value. The values allowed are:
  189.                   » "0" = is for 16BIT
  190.                   » "1" = is for MONO
  191.                   » "2" = is for MUTE
  192.     · FILE:       this tooltype allows to set your default output file. You have
  193.                   to enter the path and file name.

  196.     · MEMTYPE:    allows to set your default memory type. There  are some values
